Pandemmy and Abscendent explain interest in a Split Album.

Pandemmy: In ten years of his career we released a demo, two eps and two albums. We did not want to release another EP, so a split album with a european band became the best option to expand our music with new songs while our third album is not released. We wanted this record with a group that we really liked and that was unknown in our region. Abscendent can bring together technique and feeling. We hope to play with them one day!

Abscendent: After releasing their sophomore record and undergoing a line-up change, Abscendent is going to release a split album with the Brazilian band Pandemmy. Among the various reasons, the band main objective is to present some new material written and recorded with the newcome drummer as well as extending their spectrum of listeners worldwide, by collaborating with a band from a country with a solid tradition in extreme metal like Brazil, while also offering Pandemmy the opportunity to widen their fanbase in Europe.

The split will be release on streaming platforms on May 30.
